What is REPLICA and How Does It Work?
REPLICA stands for Risk Evaluation Portal for Legal Incident & Claim Action. It is an online portal designed to capture your incidents, medical record requests, and claim notices. The portal incorporates a risk algorithm that assigns a risk score to each of your submissions, categorizing them as low, medium, or high-risk.
For high-risk submissions, the portal prompts users to collect and upload critical information after an event that may turn into a claim. This critical information is traditionally lost or hard to attain due to employee turnover and communication gaps.

Medical Record Requests
One of the first indicators of litigation is a medical record request. We establish a confidential communication portal for the provider to allow our expert legal and clinical council to review and correlate to incidents and/or allegations. We will review and collaborate with the provider to recommend next steps.

Claim Notices
When a claim notice is received, we correlate the claim to any previous incident and/or medical record request and creates a case file. Our senior and associate general counsel will participate in developing a defense strategy for handling each case including monitoring any outside counsel bills and fee payments.
